Four new directors have been appointed to the board of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF), the organisation dedicated to growing participation in fishing and boating in the US.
The appointments of Jeff Pontius, Dale Barnes, Lenora Clark and Colonel Joel Wilkinson bring new fishing, boating and state agency expertise to the board.
Pontius, President and CEO of Zebco Brands, has previously served as chairman of both the RBFF and ASA boards. He has been with Zebco since 1989 and today oversees worldwide operations for numerous company brands.
Barnes, from the National Marine Manufacturers Association, is Division Manager of Marketing for the Yamaha Marine Group.
Wilkinson, appointed to the board by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, is Chief Game Warden for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, where he has twice received the Manager of the Year award.
Clark comes to the board via the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council. She has served two terms as California’s Commissioner for Boating and Waterways under Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
