Singapore-based line manufacturer FirstDart is going back to basics and improving its core product.
The OEM company has invested in a new production line and strengthened its R&D team to improve its range of monofilament lines, following increased demand in particular for its Super Power and Mulitplex superlines that were launched last year.
International Marketing Manager Sandy Ogata told Angling International that the company is committed to improving and has gone to great lengths to achieve supplier compliance status such as BSCI and Wal-Mart Responsible Sourcing. “Not only has it had the benefit of increased sales, but it has also strengthened the company philosophy on ethical and professional manufacturing,” she said.
As well as showing off its extensive range of lines in Beijing, FirstDart will be launching new products from its fly fishing portfolio. These will include furled and braided leaders, which can be fully customised. “With these additions, our fly fishing range is as complete as you can get,” added Ogata.
“China Fish is in the big league of international fishing trade shows and is the most important one that we attend. We time our developments and new projects to be aligned to the event. Our objective has always been to show our current and potential customers that FirstDart is a professional company that has the technical and human capital to be a solution provider.
“From being a buyers’ marketplace, China Fish has successfully evolved into an international event where people meet, learn, discuss and innovate. We no longer bring products for companies to buy. Instead we take a professional team with product and market knowledge to team up with the customer and cooperate.”
Sharing its booth at the show will be FirsDart’s sister company, Wuxi Greenwave Fishing Tackle, which will be showing off its range of lines, hooks and rigs.
