ICAST has been confirmed as one of the fastest growing trade shows by attendance in the United States.
The event, which is owned by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), has been recognised by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) and placed on its list of top 25 fastest growing shows in the visitor category for 2011 to 2013.
It was presented with an award at TSNN’s 2014 Annual Awards Conference and Gala this month in Cleveland, Ohio.
“We appreciate TSNN’s recognition that our industry’s trade show continues to grow in size and impact, both domestically and internationally,” said ICAST Trade Show Director Kenneth Andres. “Its continued success reflects both the strength of the sport, the industry and our member companies who exhibit at the show.
“The constant uptick in attendance is a direct result of our value-added efforts which includes incorporating new elements such as expanded business seminars as well as refining our marketing and public relations strategies.”
This year’s ICAST, which co-located with the IFTD show in Orlando, Florida, attracted more than 11,000 representatives from the global recreational fishing industry.
Andres added: “This year we’re giving our trade show website a new look with streamlined navigation, making it much easier for exhibitors and attendees to access show information. It is part of our continuing efforts to enhance everyone’s show experience.”
