Leeda returned to EFTTEX in 2016 after a four-year gap with an impressive stand and new look.
↑ Pat MacInnes, Leeda Marketing Manager, says the company is looking for European distributors at this year's EFTTEX in Budapest.

UK manufacturer, Leeda, is returning to EFTTEX looking to sign up distributors across Europe for its brands that include Wychwood Carp, Wychwood Game and MAP.

The company returned to the show in 2016 after a four-year gap with the emphasis on presenting a new-look for the business. However, this time around it will be aiming to sign up new partners on the Continent.

Marketing Manager Pat MacInnes told Angling International: “Last year’s show was about getting the name of Leeda back out there with a big stand and a really eye-catching presentation of our biggest and best products.

“We received a lot of interest from the trade across Europe and will be using that this year to secure partners for the business in new regions. Germany, Austria, Italy and Eastern Europe are key sectors for us because they represent huge growth potential across all our brand disciplines.

“We have a loyal base of customers in the UK that know what we can offer them. Our partners in Benelux and Iceland are proof that our business model of not forcing big stock orders at the wrong time of the year works perfectly for businesses who want to react quickly to changing trends.

“It is a progressive stance that we have taken and one that got tongues wagging in the UK because we bucked the trend to help dealers. Most of the UK trade worked in selling large orders at discount prices in the Autumn, whereas we gave them great deals with no minimum stock quantities around February when they are preparing for the new season.”

MacInnes added that there will be plenty of information on hand to highlight Leeda’s logistical strength, namely its extensive and easy-to-use B2B web portal, which allows customers to order, track account details and download technical and marketing information.

“Backed up by a state-of-the art warehousing infrastructure, Leeda is proud to offer dealers across Europe fast, effective and flexible service,” he added.

Leeda will be based at booth D85 at EFTTEX.
