Best New Soft Lure

The 2011 EFTTEX Best New Soft Lure Award has been styled as a shoot-out between Europe and the USA.

As ever, Sébile is likely to generate huge interest. This year it is pinning its hopes on the Sébile AT Minnow which has been designed to be as versatile as possible thanks to the variety of rigging channels created within it – AT stands for ‘all terrain’.

America’s Big Bite Baits has the Warmouth, which has already proved a winner on the 2011 Bassmaster Elite Series circuit. Also from the States comes the Livetarget Mouse, which, says makers Koppers, ‘takes hollow body lure fishing to another level’.

Europe’s most innovative companies are not to be outdone however. Look out for Fresh-Bait, a totally new concept which allows anglers to customise soft lures to their exact preferences. While from Innovative Lures comes the Softy Jr, a new soft lure which combines vertical jigging and jerkbait techniques under a new category name: Vertical Jerkbait.
