Best New Rod
Three of the world’s most popular rod brands are set to take their battle for market share well beyond the EFTTEX Best New Product Awards this year.
Hardy, Shimano and Abu Garcia will first look horns in the Best New Rod Award category with their latest models. Hardy is putting its faith in its Hardy Marksman Supero Rod range, which it expects to elevate the brand ‘to the very top of the coarse fishing sector’. Shimano has high hopes for its Wild Romance rods; while Abu Garcia is backing the Fantasista Nano to continue the exceptional work performed by its Rocksweeper Nano rods.
Meanwhile, for catfish anglers there is the Rhino Black Cat Freestyle Catfish, which the company styles as a ‘true all-round catfish rod’.
