In a week that EFTTEX revealed it had already sold out, its counterpart in Asia, China Fish, was announcing a decision to change the dates of its 2015 event.
With more than six months to go before EFTTEX, the show organiser has already started to draw up a waiting list should space at the Warsaw Expo XXI venue become available. Currently 180 exhibitors from 35 countries across the world are booked to attend the show which takes place between June 11th and 13th.
Meanwhile in Beijing, Li Jiang, owner of China Fish, has cited a clash of dates with the Hunting & Fishing Show in Russia as the reason for the switch. China Fish will now take place between March 2nd and 4th and not February 25th to March 1st as originally planned.
The Moscow show is scheduled to take place from February 26th to March 1st and therefore it would have made it impossible for visitors who normally attend both shows to do so in 2015.
“The two shows were so close that there was a problem,” said Li Jiang. “We want to invite more Russians to China Fish and that is the reason why we have changed the date. Normally around 200 visitors from the country attend our show and we want to give as many of them as possible the opportunity to come over.”
