Eddystone Tatler aiming for another award

The Eddystone Eel has been taking record fish since it was first invented with the bass, cod, pollack and coalfish British bests all falling to the renowned lure since 1973.
And on its return to EFTTEX after a decade, Eddystone Tatler is launching the Eddystone 2012 version that inventor and company owner, David Beer, believes can emulate the Eddystone 2010 that picked up Best New Lure at the show in 2002.
He says: “The action is so good when it swims through the water I can’t believe it myself. On shore tests it has taken an 11lb bass, 12lb cod, 5lb ballan wrasse and a 3lb whiting.
“It was just as effective from the boat, accounting for a 20lb cod and 19lb pollack.
