Deeper, the fishing electronics company that secured its second product award in as many years at EFTTEX 2017, has once again been recognised for its achievements, this time outside the fishing industry.
The Lithuanian business has become the first from the Baltic States to be included by Deloitte Global among the top ten fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Deloitte compiles its Fast 500 list every year after looking at turnover trends and rates of growth over four years. Deeper was named number eight in the exclusive table after recording a 7,048% increase.
Deeper’s CMO, Rolandas Sereika, collected the award in Paris and told Angling International his company was ‘very encouraged and excited’ by the recognition.
“The speed of our growth as a company shows that anglers around the world are excited by the technology we are producing, which is giving them genuine advantages from bank and boat,” he said.
“I would like to thank all our partners and pro staffers who have made a massive contribution to our success so far. We are ambitious and we have plans to develop and grow still further.”
Earlier this year, Deeper was named by Deloitte as the second fastest-growing technology company in Central Europe, after previously being identified as a ‘rising star’ for the region in 2016.
The awards, now in their 17th year, are compiled by Deloitte Global’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) group.
