Daiwa is set to launch PROREX at EFTTEX – a ‘monster’ range for the predator lure angler.
Over the last year the company’s development teams have been concentrating on a large range of high performance reels, rods, lures and accessories designed to serve the wide and varied techniques employed by the modern lure angler.
It is targeted at the committed individual who frequently targets monster pike, perch and zander, but also places value on wild surroundings.
Currently entering the final stages of testing and fine-tuning, the range will be available from winter 2016 and will be served by a dedicated multi-language website.
Daiwa says that all the hardware will feature its unique technologies, ‘delivering significantly high levels of performance’ that the dedicated lure angler will appreciate and benefit from. The vast array of lure designs embraces new shapes and actions in soft, hybrid and hard lure categories. On key patterns its award-winning LIVE reproduction can be expected in stunning definition.
“Confidence is high that PROREX will excite lure anglers,” says Daiwa. “It is they who recognise that predators share the characteristics of ancient monsters: killing teeth, armour plating, defensive spikes and awesome camouflage. They hunt others by stealth and sight. They are simply primal – prehistoric.”
