Daiwa and Shimano are two of the powerhouses of fishing who will be unveiling major new launches at Europe’s top sea angling show this weekend.
At the Salon De La Pêche En Mer, in Nantes, Daiwa will be launching the Certate LT 19 reel, which goes on sale in France in June, while Shimano will be previewing a more robust and powerful version of its Stella.
Also at the showpiece will be French lure maker Fiiish, which will be launching the Black Eel, a cross between its award-winning Black Minnow and Crazy Sandeel. A new rod, the Red Monster Special, will take centre stage on the Ultimate Fishing booth.
More than 100 boats and kayaks will also be on show at the venue and on the water.
Star guests at Nantes will include Patrick Sébile, who last year launched his own brand, A Band of Anglers, and Savage Gear Product Manager Markos Vidalis, a shore jigging specialist who has more than 15,000 subscribers on his You Tube channel.
The show runs from Friday (March 1st) to Sunday (March 3rd) at the Park Des Expositions in Nantes.
