Daiwa is set to attend its first UK consumer fishing show in more than a decade. The UK arm of the business will be taking a stand at The Big One, the leading consumer fishing tackle show in Great Britain, where it will be showing off its match and carp fishing tackle.
Daiwa UK Marketing Manager Stephen McCaveney told Angling International it was the right time for the company to have a presence at a UK show. “The feedback we get from the trade and through our own experience is that The Big One has matured into a quality event that is well attended.
“This is an opportunity for visitors to see our new gear and engage with the brand. Daiwa has a wide range of products and people have to have access to it. This is an ideal chance for us to take our tackle to the market.”
McCaveney added that Daiwa will be showing off its full range of poles – including ten new models for the 2015 season – which will be displayed at the show’s ‘Pole Alley’ “We are the largest manufacturer of poles in the UK and our presence there will demonstrate that,” added McCaveney.
The Big One takes place on March 21st and 22nd next year in Farnborough, Hampshire. www.fishfacepromotions.co.uk
