Cixy City Yule’s combination is a winner

Creating a reel that combines fashion with functionality has proved to be a winning formula for Cixi City Yule Fishing Tackle’ Yolo brand.
The company picked up the Best Reel Award during the China Fish Awards Banquet for its IM-3000, much to delight of the company’s Vice General Manager, Jacky Fang.
He told Angling International: “We like to look at our reels as fashion items and not just tools that catch fish. This award is tribute to that ideal and we are very proud to have won it.”
The IM-3000 is also different from its competitors in that unlike most reels it is made of stainless steel instead of graphite or aluminium. “We are the first company to do this and the design is appreciated by our customers,” he added.
“Developing a new spinning reel is simple nowadays, but introducing something innovative – like the IM-3000 – is very difficult.
“Yolo will continue to follow the innovation route and we will be launching four or five new models at next year’s China Fish.”
Fang said that Yolo, which exports its products throughout the world, was looking to develop its presence in Europe, Russia and North America.
