After three Best of Show category wins in recent years, Paladin is expecting to make more progress at China Fish 2012 by introducing the Castalia Magic Flight reel to the Asian market.
The Magic Flight features a dimpled spool design inspired by the surface of golf balls. The dimples are positioned on both the outer edge of the spool and backside of the facing. They work to reduce friction on the line much like the dimples on the golf ball reduce friction as it flies through the air. Less friction on the line, says Paladin, means greater casting distances.
