Johnson Outdoors acquires LakeMaster brand
New improved Humminbird fishfinders are on their way following the acquisition of a top digital mapping company by owner, Johnson Outdoors Marine Electronics Inc.
The Racine, Wisconsin, company has bought the assets of Waypoint Technologies, maker of LakeMaster, the premier brand of high definition electronic charts among Northern US anglers.
The deal includes Pro Map Technologies, the LakeMaster inland water survey data processing technology that will now provide an exclusive expanded portfolio of digital maps for Humminbird fishfinders.
