New from Buck Knives this summer is the latest addition to the ‘Mr. Crappie by Buck Knives’ signature series. The US manufacturer has also introduced new fishing gloves to the line.
The Slab Shaver is a folding fillet knife with a four-inch steel blade. The knife, which weighs 2.8 ounces and measures nine inches, features a combination of flexibility and durability and is designed with an ergonomically-shaped nylon handle in Mr. Crappie’s hi-vis yellow.
The 89106 Fishing Gloves incorporate an elastic design for maximum comfort, as well as warmth, when processing fish. They come in sizes small to 2XL.
Also available are the 89107 Cut Resistant Fishing Gloves, made from a high performance polyethylene that prevents cuts from knives, hooks and gills. Their non-slip texture also provides a sure grip.
Lined for warmth and with an elastic design that moulds to the hand, they are available in sizes medium to 2XL.
Buck Knives, headquartered in Post Falls, Idaho, produced its first knife in 1902. The 110 Folding Hunter model, introduced in 1964, is said to have revolutionised the knife industry.
