Bubba Blade showed off its new look at the Bassmaster Classic and also introduced an addition to its knife collection.
Earlier this year the American Outdoor Brands company (AOB) announced the launch of BUBBA, a new name for the brand, and a repositioning within the fishing accessory market to what it describes as a “lifestyle’ brand.
In Knoxville last weekend it introduced the new Lithium Ion Electric Fillet Knife (EFK). It is currently available to consumers online and soon to retailers nationwide.
Josh Neville, Brand Manager at BUBBA, said: “Overall, the cordless EFK market has not achieved the level of innovation and quality that modern anglers look for in premium fishing equipment.
“To address this problem, we have completely redesigned each component within our Lithium Ion EFK motor for optimum efficiency, and used premium quality internal and external parts to increase the overall lifespan of the end product.
“We have also improved the battery capacity by nearly 28%, equipping our EFK with the longest run-time on the market.”
The BUBBA Lithium Ion Electric Fillet Knife is made entirely from parts designed in-house by the brand’s product development team, which identified and executed opportunities to improve upon standard electric fillet knife designs. In doing so, BUBBA says it has produced an EFK that yet again sets the bar for motor speed, torque, construction quality and handling.
Neville, added: “Our designers live the BUBBA lifestyle and head for the water at every opportunity. So they knew what they wanted, and used that experience to build the absolute best cordless electric fillet knife on the market. I believe we have accomplished that by adding our state-of-the-art technology into a highly portable design.
“Now anglers who often fillet their catch in remote situations can rely on that same level of premium performance they have come to expect from BUBBA.”
