Zebco Europe brand, Browning, has introduced what it describes as the most innovative feeder on the market.
The Xenos Feeder is made of plastic to give it a number of advantages over conventional stainless steel models, including better flight properties, a firmer hold for light groundbait mixes, and a quicker rise on retrieval. It also causes less alarm to fish than one made of gleaming stainless steel.
Browning adds that this is no ordinary plastic feed feeder. “It is more flexible than ever. The aerodynamic weights can be changed over in seconds. You can simply swap a 30gr weight for a 50gr without having to remove the feeder from your rig.
“However, it shows its greatest strength when the fish are feeding in mid-water, which is often the case with carp or roach. Simply unscrew the weight from the Xenos Feeder and replace it with a specially designed plastic ball, which delivers a slow-sinking effect. It is supplied with a slow sink version.”
“Now you can determine the sinking speed by adding water or lead. The feeder is so finely adjustable that fish can also be targeted near the surface.”
The Xenos Feeder is expected to be available from retailers at the end of March.
