UK-based manufacturer, Browning, has introduced a new generation of its popular Black Viper feeder rod.
↑ The guides on the new Browning Black Viper have been specially adapted for braided line.
↑ Prices for the new Browning Black Viper have been frozen at the same levels of previous models.

A new generation of the Browning Black Viper, the most successful line of feeder rods in the brand’s history, is being introduced this Spring.

The Black Viper 2 series is constructed from slimmer faster blanks than its predecessor. They have also been reinforced with carbon cross wrap to deliver extra power.

In addition, the rod’s guides have been specially adapted for the braided lines that are becoming increasingly popular among feeder fishermen.

There is a choice of six models, including a 3.6-metre version (12’) with a casting weight of 80g, two 3.9-metre models (13’) with casting weights of 100g and 140g, two 4.2-metre models (14’) with casting weights of 120g and 160g and a ‘river monster’ measuring 4.5 metres (15’) with a casting weight of 250g.

Further good news for anglers is that prices have been frozen at the same levels as the previous series, offering greater performance for the same money.

Zebco Europe started supplying retailers with the new rods from the end of March.
