Svendsen Sport UK appoints Marketing Manager

Svendsen Sport has appointed Ed Betteridge as its UK Marketing Manager.
Betteridge, who spent seven years at Pure Fishing, will be responsible for promoting the Danish-based company’s brands – including Prologic and Savage Gear – to both its consumer and trade audiences.
Richard Taylor, UK Country Manager for Svendsen Sport, said: “I believe in making targeted UK sales and marketing and developing the right products for our market. Our UK partners are the core of our business. If they are successful, so will we continue to be.
“It is a perfect time for Ed to be joining us as we are about to launch a wide range of new products at next week’s EFTTEX trade show. He will bring a wealth of knowledge through his many years in angling and I am confident he will be a great asset to the business, contributing to our continued growth.”
Betteridge added: “I am elated to have joined Svendsen Sport. I have spoken in depth to some of the UK team and I am extremely impressed with how the company wants to push forwarf in this market and I am excited to see the new, innovative products that are in the pipeline.
