A rod rest designed to stay on the rod when playing fish is one of the fastest-selling carp products of 2015, says UK manufacturer, Bank BUG.
The two-part Rock Steady Back Rest system is designed to eradicate rod movement in any direction. A locking boss attaches to any type of rod butt using one of two ‘o’ rings provided. The locking point is screwed into any bank stick or rod pod thread and the system is ready.
“When a take occurs, simply lift the rod and you are in complete control,” says Christian Cox, founder of Bank BUG in 2013. “The locking boss stays on the rod when a fish is being played and when the rod is in transit. The locking point can also be left on the bank stick or rod pod permanently. It’s the only back rest you’ll ever need.”
Each Rock Steady Back Rest is made in the UK and comes complete with two rubber ‘o’ ring attachments, the two-component system and a Bank BUG branding sticker.
Bank BUG’s other carp products include Receptor-1 baits, the Silent Assassin hook series and the Advanced clothing range.
