Serial award winners, American Tackle, were at it again at China Fish last week.
The company, winner of awards at three of the world’s top trade shows in recent years, capped another successful appearance at China Fish by winning the tackle accessory category with its Black Titanium Guides.
“Winning an award was the icing on the cake for us because we enjoyed an outstanding show,” said American Tackle co-owner Darrin Heim. “It has to stand out as our best show ever in Beijing. We were writing orders almost as soon as the doors opened on the first day.
“The guides really caught the imagination of visitors to our booth. They were captivated by the consistency of the finish and the cool look. But it wasn’t just the appearance that impressed, the guides are proven winners also.”
Also taking pride of place on the American Tackle booth at China Fish was its range of JigSkinz, the innovative product that allows anglers to refurbish and customise their lures. The company enjoys the global selling rights for the product.
This year it showed off its Abalone range which feature iridescent foil patterns that are available in four sizes and in blue, yellow and pink colour options.
Heim also revealed that American Tackle is set to expand its Weihai-based operation in China following an ‘explosion’ in its OEM and private label businesses. It will be recruiting new staff to help in the office which was set up more than five years ago.
