ASA promotes three to senior leadership roles

Mike Leonard has been promoted to Vice President for Government Affairs.
↑ Liz Ogilvie has been promoted to ASA Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
↑ Blake Swango has been made Vice President of Trade Show and Membership.

The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) has promoted three members of staff to senior leadership positions within the organisation.

Mike Leonard, formerly Conservation Director, has been elevated to Vice President for Government Affairs; Liz Ogilvie has stepped up from Chief Marketing Officer to become Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer; and Show Director Blake Swango has been appointed Vice President for Trade Show and Membership.

ASA President Glenn Hughes said: “These three individuals are committed to our industry and have the experience and education that fits perfectly with the goals and objectives that will take our industry’s association into the future.

“We are seeing great support for recreational fishing and outdoor recreation in general from this administration. These staff changes will help us capitalise on this momentum and make positive changes for the fishing industry.”

Completing the management team is current Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer, Diane Carpenter.

Hughes added: “I am confident that our management team is up to the challenge in the near-term and planning for the long-term. They have my full support.”
