American Tackle will be showing off the latest version of the triple award-winning MicroWave Guide system at tomorrow’s show in Beijing.
The Asian market will get its first look at the MW30 Titanium Gold Tidal Wave Edition line control system which has been designed for inclusion on inshore, offshore, carp and surf rods.
American Tackle’s original MicroWave Guide system was launched at ICAST in 2013 and went on to win Best Fishing Accessory at the show and subsequent awards at EFTTEX and China Fish. The latest system boasts single-foot 8mm or double-foot 10mm ring options, passes all leader knot sizes, has a snagless design, reduced guide set weight and smaller guide footprints.
Also new to the China Fish audience will be the made-in-the-US braided round four-strand Nano X treated PE fishing line. It has been developed for both saltwater and freshwater spinning and casting applications.
The Nano X coating allows longer, smoother casts and ensures that the line stays cleaner.
Perfect for the MicroWave Line Control System, it is braided round to reduce twist.
American Tackle will also be hosting the Castoff Casting Competition in Beijing for the first time, following its success at ICAST and EFTTEX last year. The event is backed by official rod sponsor, Weihai Crony Fishing Tackle and US-based Lew’s Fishing Tackle which is sponsoring the reels. It is also backed by Lure Times magazine.
The qualifying rounds take place tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday with the top four fighting out the final at 3pm on Friday. The winner will be announced at the China Fish Awards Banquet in the evening.
