American Tackle knows how to make an impact at the world’s biggest trade shows – and this year’s ICAST is no exception. The company behind the multi award-winning MicroWave guide system made a big splash with its demos on Lake Toho at ‘ICAST on the Water’ yesterday.
And the fun continues today as visitors to the Orange County Convention Center get to take part in the first MicroWave FlipOff competition.
Individuals or teams of two are challenged to participate in a flipping/pitching contest based on accuracy. The event is open to all exhibitors and attendees, who get to use official FlipOff rods and American Tackle lines and plugs.
ICAST visitors also get the chance to take the now traditional MicroWave Challenge and an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Ricardo Cortigiani, crowned European MicroWave Casting Champion barely a month ago at the EFTTEX trade show in Warsaw.
On top of all that, American Tackle will be hosting a Wave Army Reception at its booth, 3159, tomorrow (Thursday 16th) at 3.45pm, when visitors can enjoy an ‘adult beverage’, talk shop with American Tackle staff and be in with a chance of receiving a MicroWave guide rod and other free items.
Media and dealers can take the opportunity to test cast MicroWave guide rods entered in the New Product Showcase before casting their votes. American Tackle has also entered its new NanoX braid, already an award winner at the China Fish Show earlier this year, into the prestigious awards.
Exhibitors offering MicroWave rods at ICAST include Fitzgerald Rods, Six Gill Fishing Products, T. Allen Rods, Enigma Fishing, Blackfin Rods, Duckett Fishing, Bulldawg Rods, Lew’s Tackle, Manley Rods, Carrot Stix and Crony.
American Tackle is the official sponsor of the ICAST Lure Tank, which is situated adjacent to the New Product Showcase.
